As you are aware, Republic Bank (St Maarten) N.V. will be converting to the Republic Financial Holdings Limited (RFHL) technology platform and suite of products on April 4, 2022. While this change will be reflected across many products, our team is working hard to ensure that there is as little disruption to you as possible and we’re happy to say that you’ll soon be able to benefit from enhanced product offerings from Republic Bank.
ScotiaLine is one of the products that will experience changes as part of this transition. What does this mean for you? As a customer with an interest only payment structure, you have several options available to you, including:
- Converting your ScotiaLine limit and balance to an Overdraft Facility
- Converting to a fixed payment option (principal plus interest) by way of a Make it Happen Loan
- Converting your ScotiaLine limit and balance to a Republic Bank MasterCard Gold Credit Card
We’ve made it a priority to make as many options, as possible, available to you and to put the power of choice in your hands. Each of these options has its own benefits, and we’re happy to discuss them with you and answer any questions that you may have.
Your branch will contact you directly to provide further details on the options listed above, including a schedule for card collection, should you choose to obtain a Republic Bank MasterCard Gold Credit Card.
